New UU Fall 2008 session
New UU is an orientation program for new members and friends of the First Unitarian Society. During the five weekly meetings, you'll have the opportunity to:- get acquainted with others new to First Unitarian Society
- learn about Unitarian Universalism and the organization of the Society
- explore whether your beliefs and values are consonant with Unitarian Universalism.
- see how
your needs might be met at First Unitarian Society.
Two sessions will be offered, one session meeting on Thursday evenings, and the other meeting on Sunday afternoons. The dates and times are as follows:
The dates and time for the fall meetings are as follows:
Thursdays
October 23, 30, November 6, 13, 7–9 p.m., Sunday November 23, 1 – 3 p.m.
(Note that our 5th Session: Celebration! And Pathways to Meaningful Involvement is a joint session with Sunday group on November 23, 1 – 3 p.m.)
Sundays
October 26, November 2, 9, 16, 23, 1 – 3 p.m.
Child care is provided during the Sunday sessions only.
- Participants are encouraged to attend all five meetings.
The registration
fee is $15 per person, payable
either by mail or credit card (on line).
