Unitarian Universalist Campus Ministry
We are the First Unitarian Society Campus Ministry group. We have dinner at 5pm and a service on the first and third Sundays of the month during the academic year on the UW campus. On the second and fourth Sundays, join the group at FUS (the #2 bus from campus) for food and fellowship. We invite all area college students to join us!
What are our services like? The main focus of each service is a discussion led by a UU minister, a campus ministry member, or a member of the local community. Some of the topics we’ve talked about recently are: Unitarian Universalism; Buddhism; pilgrimage; being neither spiritual nor religious; reproductive rights; the spirituality of exercise; International Women’s Day. We also talk about our joys and concerns during each service to help us to form a more closely-knit community. Service topics will be posted on our website (www.fusmadison.org). Come by the Memorial Union and check us out!
Our next gathering will be on Sunday, December 7th. Join us and de-stress before finals! We start with a light supper (our treat) followed by worship and discussion. Check the TITU board for room location. All college students are welcome!
