“Investing In the Power of Us All”

Dear Friend of First Unitarian Society,

Think about the first time you came into FUS Madison, and what it was that moved you to stay connected with our community.

For some, it is changing the world through social justice. For others, it is the powerful presence of singing in a choir. Parents join to give children a liberal faith experience. Many are brought into powerful worship services by friends and family. Still others enter through the Quest program, mindfulness meditation, or adult education courses.

These experiences – as well as your first impression – happen because somebody previously sponsored with a pledge.  That earlier gift was paid forward to each one of us. Now it is our turn to invest, as together we seek to be a force for good in the world.  We hope you’ll consider paying your pledge forward, which you can do right now by clicking on the Making An Annual Pledge button above. Thank you!

In service,

Brian Hellmer

“Positive Impact”

“FUS has provided a wonderful religious education to my children and helped me reflect more deeply on my values and life priorities. However, what truly excites me is our opportunity to inspire others by modeling the positive impact an inclusive and welcoming spiritual community can have on the larger world.”
