Social Justice: Our Principles in Action

At First Unitarian Society, promoting justice is an essential element of the journey to personal spiritual growth and transformation.Contribute your expertise, your energy, or your passion to help make this a better community and world.

The mission of the FUS Social Justice Program is to engage in proactive, progressive social action and community outreach that integrates social justice work into the overall life of the congregation and produces a significant impact on targeted social justice issues at local, national, and international levels.

We have Social Justice Ministry Teams of congregational volunteers and a Social Justice Coordinator on staff.  FUS works in collaboration with Unitarian Universalist, interfaith and community partners.

Use the menus above and on the left to connect to our current work.   If you are interested in starting a new effort or group at FUS, visit the FAQ to learn more about how that works.

Contact Becky Schigiel, Social Justice Coordinator, or call 233-9774 extension 125.
