Programs at First Unitarian Society

A recent study found that involvement in religious community is a major component of a satisfying life. The study did not say “attending church,” though that is one way to be involved. It said “involvement”. Even before we knew this, we suspected as much and so for years we have offered countless events, activities, classes, and lectures that have served as ways to deepen a sense of meaning and connection within the FUS community and beyond. So our "programs" here at FUS are ways to make your or your families life more satisfying through involvement in THIS religious community.

Long time participants at FUS attest to the value of participation both as a way to be enriched and as a way to learn about Unitarian Universalist values and the people here who hold them.

Newcomers become seasoned by their engagement.

Whoever you are, wherever you are on your journey, we hope you will find something here that catches your fancy.

Michael A. Schuler, Senior Minister
