Groundwork Training

Two-Part Groundwork Training: Saturday, May 15, from 10:30 am – 12 pm & 1 pm – 2:30 pm

In this workshop, we will explore our personal and collective understanding of white privilege, white supremacy, and racism through small group work, discussion prompts, and exercises. We’ll discuss our understanding of how racism shows up in majority-white spaces and strategies for influencing systems we inhabit. Lastly, we will discuss how the current climate has impacted and influenced antiracism work. Our goal for this workshop is to help us as white people examine how racism impacts our lives and your congregation, and how we can diminish the impact and harm of racism in our everyday lives.
