WMUU 102.9 FM is a low-power radio station owned by First Unitarian Society of Madison. We air programs on a wide range of topics that we hope will inform, engage, and inspire our local community and beyond. From current affairs to the theology of Doctor Who, we work to reflect the diversity of our city. As well as our talk programs, we broadcast “Live from the Fountain” from the piano bar at The Fountain restaurant at 122 State Street in Madison. These broadcasts feature local musicians and writers, and are free and open to the public. Our content includes both nationally syndicated and locally produced programming.

FUS seeks to be a place where people can explore ethical, spiritual, and social issues in a safe environment, and in the spirit of these goals, WMUU seeks to provide programming that challenges, inspires, entertains, and enlightens listeners. First Unitarian Society also has a long history of working for social justice in Madison, and many of our members are involved in projects centered on racial justice, economic equality, LGBTQ and women’s rights, and environmental stewardship. WMUU airs a number of our social justice talks and workshops.
