February 4 & 5 – Gathering Strength: The Power of Dormancy
At this point on the wheel of the year, when fields lie fallow, seeds lie dormant, and some mammals hibernate, we pause to honor the interdependent web of existence. We honor the pause itself, the gestational time. We seek renewal of the spirit, and remain open to the forces that create and uphold life.
On Saturday, soprano Tamara Brognano will sing with collaborative pianist Linda Warren. On Sunday, the Festival Choir, directed by Sergei Pavlov, will sing.
