January 14 & 15 – Why Race is Still Relevant
As we mark the 88th anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr.’s birth, we’ll revisit his famous dream speech, in which he envisioned a day when Americans would be “judged by the content of their character rather than the color of their skin.” One would have thought that with the election and re-election of a black president that dream was close to being fulfilled. Guest pianist Trevor Stephenson will play for the weekend services.
