June 18 – The Fifth Deadly Sin, 9 & 11 a.m.
Wrath, known more colloquially as anger, is the subject of these reflections. Despite its classification as a major sin, it’s alarmingly ubiquitous. More often than not, angry people justify the emotion as an expression of their “righteousness,” e.g., “I’m mad as hell and I’m not going to take it anymore!” Anger can be experienced and expressed in a variety of subtle and not-so-subtle ways. But is it really possible to be good, and angry?
Trios for harp, flute, and cello will be played by Linda Warren, Philip Delaquess, and Marilyn Chohaney.
