Saturday, December 7 – “North Star Wonderings”
The ancients often regarded stars as living entities and protective souls; for millennia, constellations have been used to raise our crops and to follow our dreams, using the North star as a directional anchor. It has thus become a symbol of steadfastness and aspiration. As we enter this darkening holiday season, perhaps this image can help us find our way once again as we search for place and meaning.
Soprano Gay Thomas will sing accompanied by Jeff Hanson on guitar and Linda Warren at the piano.
