February 25 & 26 – Sorrow Comes Where Love Abides
Grieving is one of the most important of our human activities. We all have done it; we will all do it. Grief work is hard work and we need to help one another do it. We Americans have strange ways of encountering death – often with denial – and expressing grief – often inadequately. In this reflection, one that comes at the request of a Cabaret auction item, we will look at how we support one another in this important work and how can we craft a culture in which all emotions are welcome and supported.
On Saturday, Rob Cunningham will lead a saxophone ensemble for the musical offerings. On Sunday, the FUS Chime Choir will play music arranged by Linda Warren.
