Sunday, August 19 – “Leaving a Legacy”

During my process of retiring from Edgewood College, I’ve discovered that leaving a legacy actually needs to start long before we’ve left. Unless we are wealthy enough to simply write a check to leave our mark, we may want to give some serious consideration to what our legacy may become. This is true, not only for those of us of a certain age, but also for anyone who hopes to be impactful in how we live and what we eventually leave behind… whether gifts of money, public service, volunteer work or loving care of friends and family. Please join me for a reflection on how we may begin thinking about the important work of leaving our legacy.
