Sunday, June 19 @ 10 am – “Joyful Liberation”
This year, Juneteenth falls on a Sunday, so we will be coming together on a day that celebrates the liberation from enslavement. At the same time, we’ll be just a little over a week away from the anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising, a watershed moment in the struggle for the freedom simply to be for LGBTQ+ folks. At the intersection of these two important occasions, join us for a service about freedom: how precious and beautiful it is, and how it cries out to be shared, expanded, and lent towards the collective liberation of all.
