Sunday, May 9 @ 10 am – “The Power of Story” with Rev. Roger Bertschausen
Stories are powerful. They can move nations and even the whole world to action. Stories about themselves and their families have an enormous impact on individuals. Stories shape congregations and other communities. We will reflect on the power of stories—from Buddhist nationalists in Sri Lanka to stories we have about our mothers and First Unitarian Society. Music by and for moms of FUS’s music staff: an organ solo by Linda Warren’s mother, a bell choir piece by Heather Thorpe’s grandmother, and a song by Drew Collins written for his mother.
