Saturday, December 21 – Winter Solstice: Honoring the Darkness, Welcoming the Light
The Winter Solstice marks the longest night of the year and the moment when the light slowly begins to return. As the year winds down to its close, and we are submerged once again in the seasonal darkness we have come to know so well, we have reason to think back upon the year that was. As we enter into the time of slowly growing light, we will join together in hope that within this dark and fertile time we will recall the true light of our lives, the love we give to others, and the peace we nurture within ourselves.
