Visiting Us

You are welcome here

We are a community of doubters, believers, thinkers, and seekers. We celebrate and embrace the diversity of the human experience, whether it’s in ideas, beliefs, ethnicity, race, gender, gender identity, abilities, socioeconomic status, or sexual orientation. All who are searching with an open mind, a loving heart and generous spirit are welcome here. If you’re looking for a community of fellow travelers to accompany you on your spiritual and ethical journey, First Unitarian Society is a place for you.

We look forward to meeting you!

Worship

Join us for one of our three weekend services: Saturdays at 4:30 pm (September-May) and on Sundays at 9 am and 11 am (September – May) in the Atrium Auditorium.

Children are always welcome to join us during services. Childcare is provided during worship services, and our “Baby Haven” room is available for you and your child(ren) during our services.

Finding Us

We’re located at 900 University Bay Drive in Madison across from the UW Hospital.

We have two worship spaces: the Landmark Auditorium (Frank Lloyd Wright’s Meeting House) and the Atrium Auditorium. Both spaces are connected by a center hallway.

About UU

Unitarian Universalists are religious liberals united in shared values we call our “principles.” We look to the world’s great religions as sources of spiritual inspiration, to science and Humanism as the basis for knowledge and to the natural world for wisdom. We’re a covenantal rather than creedal faith.
